Target : 4/18-4/24

If you are new to couponing you may want to read Coupons 101 .

Print a copy of Target's Official Coupon Policy to take with you incase you experience any trouble at your store. This doesn't happen to me often at our local stores, but others have run into problems with using coupons at Target.

Target is also paying $0.05 for every reusable tote bag that you use at checkout!

Links for Garage Sales

MyCityMommy is doing a Twitter Party tonight at 8p cst [woot woot] and we are excited to chat with you and answer lots of coupon questions. Many of the questions readers asked were coupon related, but we had a few non coupon questions come in as well.

One of which leads me to this post. A few readers asked where they could find lists for garage sales aside from Craigslist. With the power of social media, many more options for finding garage sales, ways to sell your unwanted items, and finding new treasures have opened up.

Here is a list I put together for you with garage sales and other ways to buy and sell items, including yard sales which have become huge annual events.

Have you gotten your bag yet?

I went to Target this morning and saw a sea of green bags leaving the store (green as in good for the Earth and literally green)! I went right in, checked out the $1 and under sales, clearance, and bought way too expensive printer ink (any ideas on where to find it cheap for a Lexmark???) and was happy to leave with all of my purchases tucked into a cute green tote. I love bags :) And it makes you feel good saving all of that plastic!

Target is not the only one using reusable bag deals to get you in their store. Check out these other green bag deals and feel good about helping the Earth!

-Kroger- see my previous post on decorating your own bag for their contest and in the meantime get a $0.99 credit to use towards one of their bags (the plain ones are $0.99, the insulated ones are a little more)!

-Wegman's - use a reusable bag (theirs or yours) and get a coupon for $1 off fresh Sea Food this week (the coupon changes weekly, always $1, but different items)

-Babies R Us- buy an eco-friendly toy or natural/organic baby product and get a reusable tote for free!

-Pet Smart - reusable bags $1.99 with proceeds going to charity

-Old Navy - stuff a bag and use your Old Navy card to get a 20% discount

Have you seen any other great bag or discounts with reusable bags? Please share!
