Fridays After Five is from 5-8pm on Fridays. Admission, including the exhibits, planetarium and an IMAX show is only $8, when it would normally be 18.95 for an adult and 15.95 for a child. What a fabulous deal! Not only can go to the Maryland Science Center on a budget but you don't have to miss a thing. You could go on a Friday to see the exhibits and the following Friday to catch an Imax movie while still paying less than going on a regular day!
Additionally, this past Saturday was the premier of the new traveling exhibit “GPS Adventures,” a family friendly introduction to Geocaching, a worldwide treasure hunting game. The exhibit features a fun and educational history of navigation, a 4,500 square foot maze, and a treasure hunt in Baltimore's Inner Harbor using real GPS devices. Sounds like fun to me!
There is no additional admission fee for GPS Adventures, and thus, the most economical way to experience it and the rest of the Science Center is on a Friday After Five! You'll want to plan your visit soon because this Friday promotion lasts until March 26.
