Happiness Is...Peanuts Snow Days REVIEW

Happiness Is Peanuts: Snow Days

What a perfect treat for Christmas or a Snow Day!  I have always loved Charlie Brown episodes (especially the holiday shows).  They are always a treat.  I think the one that always stands out is the Halloween episode.  My favorite episode on this DVD is She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown.  Complete with the classic Charlie Brown music you know and love.  I love that Snoopy is a no nonsense coach and that he is just a natural friend to Charlie Brown and his crew.  A great DVD to share with your family.

"The newest collection if Peanuts stories celebrated everyone's favorite thing about a long, chilly winter: now days!  Peppermint Patty trains for a figure-skating competition and Snoopy is her tough coach and crafty costume designer in the TV special She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown.  The smiles continue with an episode of The Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show featuring three short tales: The Play, Sweet Babboo! and Snoopy's Story.  Charlie Brown reflects on Christmas past while Sally prepares for Valentine's Day and Patty writes an award-winning essay about Snoopy.  It may be cold outside, but the Peanuts kids are sure to bring lots of warmth and happiness into your home this winter!"

The Smurfs Holiday Celebration REVIEW

Smurfs Holiday Celebration

I love being able to share shows that I loved as a kid with my neice and nephews.  The Smurfs are certainlly making a comeback.  They may look a little different in the movie but the classic shows that are now on DVD are a great way to share the shows you enjoyed when you were younger.
The episode I like the most is 'Tis the Season to be Smurfly it really does stress the importance of the reason for Christmas is not just gifts, it is being kind and generous to others.

"Deck the halls with Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Jokey and all the other true blue friends in these absossmurfly charming animated specials from The Smurfs TV series. In 'Tis the Season to be Smurfly, young Sassette Smurf discovers the true meaning of the season when the Smurfs befriend an elderly human couple who have no money to celebrate Christmas.  Then, in The Smurfs Christmas Special the wicked Gargamel ploys to ruin Christmas for the Smurfs and with the help of an evil stranger, he destroys the Smurf's village.  But even with no Christmas decorations or holiday feast, the Smurfs still have a smurfy song in their hearts.  Will Gargamel feel the Christmas spirit this year?  Dash through the snow to give your family the smurfiest gift of the season!"

Look at the great holiday photo cards from Tiny Prints...

Booming Blossoms: Winterberry
Starting at $34.90

I am helping my sister pick out cute cards for her family this year since it is their first year as a family-my niece will of course be the star of the holiday card.  I thought these would be so cute!  There are a few styles like this-I like the functionality of this style, not only is it a nice way to say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas but it is also an ornament or a great way to display the card.  I think that creating a greeting like this every year would be a great addition to someones decorating-I would certainly hold onto them year to year!  I have a few friends who send out photo cards and I always keep them so we can see how the children are growing up.

Check out the whole line of picture Christmas cards from Tiny Prints.

It is hard finding only one design at Tiny Prints-you will love so many of them.  The color pairings are perfect and I love how they turn out!
